Community Support Case Manager

Position: Preferred Communities (PC) Case Manager - FL
About the Organization: Church World Service is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities, whether through assisting refugees in the United States, implementing humanitarian projects abroad, or advocating for a world where everyone has access to basic needs and safety.
Objective: To deliver comprehensive case management services to at-risk refugee populations, with a particular emphasis on those facing medical challenges, housing instability, mental health concerns, or other obstacles to achieving independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the integration of new arrivals into the program by coordinating services across various departments.
- Develop detailed case plans and collaborate with different teams to support clients in reaching self-sufficiency.
- Maintain organized case files and connect clients with essential support services.
- Schedule appointments and assist clients in navigating applications for various services.
- Conduct outreach, provide training for community partners, and educate refugee community members.
- Stay updated on refugee and immigrant issues to enhance service delivery to clients.
- Qualifications:
- Education: An associate degree or three years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience: Prior experience in refugee resettlement case management or direct social services.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, strong English writing abilities, and fluency in Spanish.
Special Requirements: A valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, readiness to travel, and completion of a background check.
