About the Role:

The Executive Store Leader is a key member of the Petco team, responsible for leading a high-performing store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results. This leader will be accountable for all aspects of store operations, including sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of store department managers and hourly store partners to achieve sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with district and regional leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance store partner skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive store culture that promotes teamwork, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a pet-related industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop store partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, store partners, and district leaders.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
