Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Sales Leader in strategizing and executing initiatives to draw in customers.
  • Oversee daily customer service functions (e.g., sales operations, order management, inventory control).
  • Monitor and assess the achievement of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Manage and uphold store inventory levels.
  • Assess employee performance and determine recruitment and training requirements.
  • Arrange onboarding schedules for new hires to ensure participation in training programs.
  • Facilitate on-the-job training for new team members.
  • Lead ongoing training initiatives and encourage full engagement (e.g., product training, new procedures).
  • Guide and inspire Sales Associates to excel in their roles.
  • Provide coaching and support to both new and existing Sales Associates.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Oversee retail operating expenses, budgets, and resources.
  • Engage with clients to assess their needs.
  • Analyze consumer trends and suggest product positioning to the Commercial team.
  • Address customer complaints effectively.
  • Research new products and utilize insights to refresh store merchandise.
  • Generate reports, analyze, and interpret retail metrics, including revenue, expenses, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure all team members comply with company policies and standards.
  • Exemplify the values of JBS by representing the store with passion for our team and customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in storage areas.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).
  • Frequent movement throughout the store to access various departments and products.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in retail supervision preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while being attentive to customer needs and adapting to business demands.
  • Proven capability to meet and operate within a budget.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to take initiative independently.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Order Management Systems, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Integrity and teamwork towards a common vision.
  • Respectful and valuing diverse opinions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to handle seasonal demands and deadlines.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends/holidays.
