Job Title: Patient Services Representative

Washington Integrative Foot & Ankle is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, answering a high volume of calls, and scheduling appointments with a high degree of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer a high volume of calls and schedule appointments for all patients
  • Communicate clearly on the phone and accurately document and assign messages
  • Confirm and update contact information for all patients at every contact
  • Make follow-up calls for any messages left
  • Document appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately
  • Deliver all communications with excellent customer service
  • Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions
  • Route calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution
Requirements:
  • Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skills
  • Ability to navigate through patient records systems
  • Ability to analyze situations, prioritize, develop solutions, and make recommendations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills over the telephone
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with patients
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of medical practice terminology
  • Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to reliably commute to our Kirkland, Renton, and Everett offices
