Job Overview

As a Production Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in facilitating plant-related initiatives and ensuring their effective implementation.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance, to oversee and monitor projects from start to finish. Your outstanding organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills will be vital in managing project schedules, addressing challenges, and achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of various tasks that enhance daily production and align with company goals.
  • Oversee and implement all plant projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate all activities for initial production runs, including raw materials, packaging, scheduling, and participation in all first production runs.
  • Manage all sample requests and liaise with Sales, Technical Services, and manufacturing teams to coordinate sample deliveries as necessary.
  • Play a key role in all ERP functions, collaborating with Manufacturing and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and finalize production runs.
  • Lead Month-End Inventory processes.
  • Execute inventory adjustments and transactions within the D365 inventory system.
  • Identify the root causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory processes and suggest improvements.
  • Analyze inventory changes and communicate trends to management.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and leadership teams to uphold continuous improvement practices.
  • Integrate CI methodologies with other improvement initiatives such as SQF and Safety.
  • Work with Continuous Improvement to develop projects that enhance value creation.
  • Act as Site Level Administrator for Manufacturing Production System (Redzone).
  • Serve as Site Level Administrator for Manufacturing Training System (Alchemy).
  • Assist functional areas by leveraging strong process knowledge.
  • Manage safety initiatives at the plant in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis for all plant-related issues.
  • Contribute to the standardization of work processes.
  • Assist in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation.
  • Support the identification, planning, and management of Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to multitask and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
