JOB SUMMARY:
Product Photographer


The Photographer works closely with the creative/content teams in interpreting established brand direction and appropriately providing digital images that are on brand by referencing style guides and are produced within the production timeframes.

You'll be responsible for creating visually appealing and meaningful images that depict the product's function, features, textures, and finishes.

In this role, you must be able to perform all functions in a highly collaborative team environment while in the studio or on location.

Assets created will be used over multiple platforms (print, digital, social, and video), as well as external media needs. Ability to problem-solve the best, most efficient way to execute shoots under limiting circumstances and short lead times. This is a full-time in-studio position.

Salary and a portfolio are a must to be considered.

Support the visual production and content teams functioning as a Photographer.

Function as a highly engaged, key component of a collaborative team that includes a food and/or set stylist, assistant photographer, buyer, editor, and Photo Manager to achieve the appropriate final look for any desired output, ensuring brand integrity is being successfully translated through appropriate photography.


o Produce compelling images that are well-lit, and well-composed, using elements such as but not limited to proper exposure, focus, lens selection, composition, colors, props, angle of light, locations, and sets that align with established branded style guides in a fully digital in-house studio.

o Plan, and manage shoots based on an understanding of the department's prioritization needs.

o Process, name (metadata) and prepare images for the editing team.

o Demonstrates adaptability; comfortable with ambiguity and fast pace. Finds a balance between organizational needs, personal needs, and team needs. Resilient.

o Listens to others; Effectively listens to internal customers, managers, and peers. Leverages skill to build relationships, make decisions, and solve problems.

o Expected to participate in essential meetings, brainstorming and planning sessions.

o Assist the Photo Manager with special projects, initiatives and other duties as assigned.

o 3-5 years' recent and directly related professional experience in a commercial in-studio photography role/environment required.

o Associate's or Bachelor's degree:
Photography, Design or related field.


o Demonstrated Intermediate digital photography skills: Camera & lens basics, general use of imaging software, lighting basics, good composition, color correction, and Photoshop skills required.

o Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Bridge, Capture One, and Microsoft Office

o Salary requirements.

o Hold themselves and others to high standards.
