Position Title:

Satellite TT&C Systems Engineer

Role Overview:
The Satellite TT&C Systems Engineer will engage in various tasks aligned with their expertise. This position entails the formulation of mission-level and system-level specifications for the Tracking, Telemetry, and Command (TT&C) systems of satellites.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Documentation Leadership:

    Develop comprehensive system engineering documents including system requirements, System Operations Concept (SOC), verification and validation matrices, design descriptions, systems budgets, equipment specifications, and testing protocols for the sub-systems based on mission objectives.

  • Performance Verification:

    Oversee the verification and validation processes of the TT&C sub-system's performance. Collaborate with suppliers and integrated product teams, providing insights and support during all program reviews.

  • Testing Support:

    Assist in satellite testing, including EGSE, test supervision, and data analysis. Contribute to satellite tests at various facilities, prepare subsystem operations manuals, and support In-Orbit Testing (IOT).


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Previous design and testing experience with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites and TT&C sub-systems is essential. A solid understanding of the space environment and orbital mechanics is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in aerospace system engineering principles, with a hands-on approach to testing systems and resolving issues. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
