Position Title: Systems Engineer
Position Overview:
The Satellite TT&C System Engineer will engage in various tasks tailored to their expertise. This role involves the formulation of mission-level and system-level specifications for the TT&C systems utilized in satellites. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and drafting essential system engineering documentation such as system requirements, SOC, verification and validation matrices, design descriptions, systems budgets, equipment specifications, and test requirements based on mission objectives.
- Conducting Verification and Validation of the Tracking, Telemetry, and Command sub-system performance.
- Overseeing suppliers and integrated product teams.
- Providing insights and support during all program reviews.
- Participating in test reviews and supporting sub-system Assembly, Integration, and Test activities.
- Assisting in Satellite testing, including EGSE, test supervision, and data analysis.
- Contributing to the development of the subsystem Operations Manual and supporting In-Orbit Testing (IOT).
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
- Prior design and testing experience with LEO/MEO satellites and TT&C sub-systems.
- Familiarity with the space environment and orbital mechanics.
- Strong grasp of aerospace system engineering principles.
- Proven ability to test systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Hands-on individual capable of leading all systems integration processes.
- Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of new designs.

- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to guide and mentor a technical team.
Job Type: This is a contract position.
Work Environment: The work environment includes regular one-on-one meetings with leads, weekly team meetings, and the use of tools like Jira for task management. Employees are well-connected and informed about ongoing activities across different subsystems.
