Position Title:
Systems Engineer
Position Overview:The Satellite TT&C System Engineer will engage in various tasks based on their expertise.
This role involves the formulation of mission-level and system-level specifications for the TT&C systems associated with satellites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Documentation Leadership:**
Create and manage essential system engineering documents including system requirements, SOC, verification and validation matrices, design descriptions, systems budgets, equipment specifications, and conduct testing of the sub-systems in accordance with mission requirements.
2. **Performance Verification:**
Oversee the verification and validation processes for the Tracking, Telemetry, and Command sub-systems. Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with the integrated product team. Contribute to all program reviews.
3. **Testing Support:**
Facilitate satellite testing, including EGSE, test supervision, and data analysis. Assist in satellite tests at various facilities. Draft the subsystem Operations Manual and support In-Orbit Testing (IOT).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Prior design and testing experience with LEO/MEO satellites and TT&C sub-systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of the space environment and orbital mechanics.
- Strong foundation in aerospace system engineering principles.
- Proven ability to test systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Hands-on approach with the capability to lead systems integration processes.
- Experience in qualification and acceptance testing of new designs.
