Job Overview:
The Satellite Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C) Systems Engineer will engage in various responsibilities based on their expertise.

This position involves developing mission-level and system-level specifications for the TT&C systems utilized in satellites.


Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Leadership:
Crafting essential system engineering documents including system requirements, Statement of Work (SOC), verification and validation matrices, design descriptions, system budgets, equipment specifications, and conducting tests on subsystems according to mission criteria.

Overseeing the verification and validation processes for the performance of the Tracking, Telemetry, and Command subsystems. Collaborating with suppliers and integrated product teams. Contributing to all program reviews such as Engineering Quality Status Review (EQSR), System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR). Participating in test reviews including Test Readiness Review (TRR), Test Review Board (TRB), Design Review Board (DRB), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Assisting in the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of subsystems.


Satellite Testing Support:
Engaging in Engineering Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), supervising tests, and performing data analysis. Assisting with satellite tests at various facilities or supplier locations. Composing subsystem Operations Manuals. Supporting In-Orbit Testing (IOT).

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Prior design and testing experience with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites and TT&C subsystems. Proficient understanding of the space environment and orbital mechanics. Strong grasp of aerospace system engineering principles. Proven ability to test systems and troubleshoot issues. A hands-on individual capable of leading all systems integration activities. Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of new designs.

Soft Skills:
Leadership, attention to detail, independent work capability, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to guide and mentor a technical team.

Job Type: This is a contract position.

Work Environment:
The work environment includes regular one-on-one meetings with leads, weekly team meetings, and utilizing tools like Jira for task management. Employees are well-informed about ongoing activities across different subsystems.
