Appearance:

Job Responsibilities

This role is essential in providing administrative assistance to the Table Games management and supervisory teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting various administrative tasks
  • Verifying employee payroll
  • Assisting in monitoring employee attendance
  • Managing confidential documentation

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
  • Associate's Degree is preferred along with three (3) years of experience in office administration, or a suitable combination of experience and education
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Exceptional phone etiquette is required
  • Outstanding guest service skills are necessary
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a team-oriented mindset, are vital
  • Must be assertive and capable of working independently
  • Ability to perform duties in a highly interruptive environment
  • Capability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various business communications and respond appropriately
  • Multi-lingual skills are preferred but not mandatory
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Work Environment:

  • While primarily based in a professional office setting, there may be occasions requiring presence on the Casino Floor, where exposure to environmental factors such as secondhand smoke and noise may occur.
  • Job duties often involve standing, walking, bending, using hands for various tasks, and lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Extended periods of sitting may also be required.

Native American Preference Policy:

The Tribal Council prioritizes Native Americans in all employment practices. Members of the Seminole Tribe who meet job requirements receive first preference, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.

Employment Process:

Candidates must obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before commencing employment. Background checks may include credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screenings.
