Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The Sales and Service Consultant plays a crucial role in promoting and selling our extensive range of products and services while adhering to the company's established standards and expectations.

Compensation: $40,000 to $60,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers professionally and courteously, both in-person and over the phone, utilizing the company's customer service protocols.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and refer to service history to accurately assess service needs.
  • Recommend appropriate services based on expertise, ensuring clear communication of any additional recommendations from the Automotive Technicians.
  • Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating a thorough understanding of products and their service requirements.
  • Provide customers with accurate quotes detailing costs and estimated completion times for approved services, along with regular updates throughout the service process.
  • Follow established procedures for processing customer transactions, including reviewing completed inspections and explaining applicable warranties.
  • Conduct follow-up calls post-service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track returns, core returns, and warranty parts for customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Sales and Service Consultant is expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, demonstrating behaviors that align with the company's standards and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Professional appearance and the ability to thrive in a process-driven environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days of hire.
  • ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
  • Availability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.
