As a Senior Investment Consultant, you will advocate for our extensive client base, which exceeds 7 million individuals, by facilitating effective communication, safeguarding against fraud, and managing investment distributions. Your role will also involve risk mitigation and the development of innovative operational strategies that leverage insights to create future-focused solutions.


Job Schedule:

This is a Full-Time position within the Branch Development division at Edward Jones, which is dedicated to hiring, training, and supporting branch teams to enhance the client experience.

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the essential link between our branches and the home office, driving positive outcomes in our core profit center while gathering critical insights that inform our business strategies.

Your contributions will help branch teams expand their client base and develop their leadership capabilities, fostering innovative approaches to training, development, recognition, and rewards tailored to our unique branches.


Role Responsibilities:

As part of the Edward Jones Connection (EJC) department, you will act as a fiduciary, providing remote support to our smaller clients in collaboration with their local Branch Office Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the Financial Consultant for smaller clients, including SEP/Simple IRA participants, while maintaining their connection to the local branch team.
  • Engaging with clients daily to strengthen their relationship with our firm and assist those already engaged.
  • Delivering exceptional client service and customized solutions to meet individual client needs.
  • Providing initial contact and ongoing guidance to clients, ensuring their inquiries and service issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Collaborating with Client Service Administrators (CSAs) to uphold a high standard of customer service.
  • Keeping the department informed of any compliance or supervision concerns.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current Series 7 and 66 licenses (or a combination of Series 63 and 65).
  • 5+ years of experience in the securities industry as a Financial Consultant or in a role supporting Financial Advisors, with a strong preference for experience at Edward Jones.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to implement feedback effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in technology and the ability to learn new systems, with familiarity in Salesforce, MoneyGuide, and Excel considered a plus.
