Team Overview:
The Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) team leads the firm in ensuring clients are on track to meet their financial objectives. The Planning and Advice Consultation Group collaborates with branch teams to provide customized financial strategies tailored to complex client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Wealth Strategist, you will utilize the extensive resources available to support financial advisors in addressing clients with intricate requirements, particularly in tax advisory. Your role will serve as the primary liaison between the two groups.
You will:
- Act as a financial planning subject matter expert, utilizing the firm's comprehensive suite of financial planning tools and investment offerings to assist clients in defining their financial goals.
- Apply your knowledge of financial planning disciplines to unique client situations, collaborating directly with branch teams and their clients.
- Develop strategies based on client goals for those with complex needs, leveraging a team-oriented approach that requires specialized knowledge in tax advisory and comprehensive financial planning.
- Communicate effectively with financial advisors and clients to understand their needs, document client goals, and articulate investment and financial planning strategies.
- Stay informed about tax planning concepts, market trends, and changes in financial regulations, sharing your expertise with the team, financial advisors, and clients.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 9 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses, to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- An insurance license, to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Law.
- Broad knowledge of branch teams and structure, with a CFP designation highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Exceptional analytical skills for assessing complex financial situations and crafting tailored solutions. Experience working with high-net-worth clients and addressing their intricate financial needs will set you apart. Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CPA, or Juris Doctorate are advantageous.
