Position Overview

Team Insight:
The Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) division leads our firm in ensuring clients remain aligned with their financial objectives. The Planning and Advice Consultation Group delivers customized financial strategies by collaborating with branch teams to assess and interpret intricate client requirements and aspirations.

As a member of the client team, the Client Consultation Group within our Wealth Management Consultation department crafts personalized financial strategies by working alongside branch teams to evaluate and address complex client needs and goals.

Your Responsibilities:
Senior Wealth Strategists utilize the comprehensive resources available at our home office to assist financial advisors in addressing clients with intricate requirements, particularly in the realm of tax advisory. This role is vital as it serves as the main liaison between both groups. You will be called upon as a financial planning expert, knowledgeable about the firm's extensive array of financial planning tools and investment options, and how they can be utilized to help clients articulate their financial objectives and identify solutions to stay on course. Additionally, you will apply your expertise in financial planning disciplines to unique client situations and collaborate directly with branch teams and their clients. You will join a dynamic team of dedicated professionals, with experience ranging from years to decades, committed to personal growth, inclusion, and collaboration with financial advisors as part of the client team.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Formulate goal-oriented strategies for clients with intricate needs through a collaborative approach that necessitates specialized knowledge in tax advisory and comprehensive financial planning.
  • Engage with financial advisors and clients to comprehend client needs, assist in documenting client objectives, articulate investment and financial planning strategies and recommendations, identify necessary expertise to help clients achieve their goals, and foster relationships with clients and financial advisors.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for tax advisory strategies that support the development of goal-oriented and financial planning recommendations for clients with complex needs.
  • Lead organizational goals, projects, and initiatives to enhance service delivery to branch teams and clients.
  • Drive department-wide objectives, projects, and initiatives to improve service to branch teams and clients.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex cases requiring in-depth technical knowledge in tax advisory and financial planning, while maintaining a strong understanding of evolving regulations and their implications for tax and financial planning concepts.
  • Stay informed about tax advisory concepts, market trends, investment opportunities, and changes in financial regulations, sharing your expertise with the team, financial advisors, and clients.

The salary range for this position is based on national data, with actual compensation determined by skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors:

Minimum Salary: $113,810
Maximum Salary: $193,785

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
  • 9+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required within 6 months of employment.
  • Insurance license required within 6 months of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Law required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of branch teams and their structure.
  • CFP designation is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in financial planning, investment strategies, tax advisory, and estate planning.
  • Extensive experience working with high-net-worth clients and addressing their complex financial needs.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating intricate financial situations and devising tailored solutions.
  • Ability to assist a financial advisor in assessing solutions-based strategies for client needs.
  • Understanding of processes involving Financial Advisors and Branch Team Support members, including the implementation of Core Wealth, Banking, and Financial Planning offerings.
  • Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CPA, or Juris Doctorate Degree.
