Job Summary

Austin ISD is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Supervisor to join our team at the Reading Academy Literacy. As a key member of our academic operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the academy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality literacy programs to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reading Academy Literacy, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement effective literacy programs, in collaboration with teachers and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of literacy programs with other academic initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to teachers to enhance their literacy instruction skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Literacy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in educational leadership or literacy instruction.
  • Strong knowledge of literacy instructional strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.
