- Stay current in the field of Reading and Writing through ongoing professional development and training.

- Participate in college and community events that promote student success and community development.
- Education
- A Master's degree in Reading or Developmental Education or Literacy, or a Master's degree with 18 hours of Reading, Writing, or Combination, or an MA in English with 3 hours of Reading and 3 hours of Writing.
- Experience
- Experience teaching Integrated Reading and Writing courses in a community college setting.
- Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and faculty.
This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be required to work in an office/classroom environment and will be subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds is required.
