About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at Chenega Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Windows Active Directory environment and all applications required to run in this environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a Windows Active Directory environment, including Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, Maximo, and Configuration Management.
  • Build, manage, and upgrade network servers, including Windows 2008/2012 servers.
  • Support specialized software for Navy, Marine Corps, and overall Command job functions.
  • Use computerized ticketing systems to track activities and anticipate problems and opportunities.
  • Perform continuous review of program performance results and interfaces with clients to address status, operational issues, and metrics.
  • Ensure work is executed in accordance with company practices, values, and client specifications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to users and maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Provide occasional on-call support after normal business hours and employ customer service skills.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify problems/issues, and determine contingency plans.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables and recommend, develop, and execute policies to align with DoD and DoN STIGs and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including experience implementing new Windows-based technologies.
  • Experience with common Windows infrastructure components, such as antivirus, file services, print services, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Exchange.
  • Experience with personal computers and MS Office Software Suite.
  • System Administration experience in enterprise-class Windows server environments.
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Active Directory administration experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
