We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to support our US Courts client in a SharePoint online implementation and maintenance project.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • The Systems Administrator (Senior) will manage and maintain the SharePoint Online environments for a Federal Government customer. This role includes configuring and administering SharePoint Online, ensuring compliance with security policies, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Configure and maintain SharePoint Online environments.
  • Implement security measures in accordance with NIST guidelines.
  • Perform regular system administration tasks, including backups and restores.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint Online.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
  • Assist in migrating existing SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff within the agency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Technical background in administration of Microsoft 365 and specifically SharePoint Online.
  • Technical background and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Strong understanding of NIST security requirements.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Drupal is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
  • Azure or SharePoint certifications preferred.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in IT-related field. Equivalent years of IT work experience may be substituted.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

*This position is contingent upon future contract award to Gunnison.
