Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is preferred.
  • Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and practices.
  • Possession of one or more of the following certifications or their equivalents:
    • Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or a similar Cloud System/Service Certification is mandatory.
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate certification is highly regarded.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in writing software scripts using languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
  • Fundamental understanding and practical knowledge of essential components of the Linux operating system, including user and group account management in LDAP, and configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
  • Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting extensive cloud computing systems, with familiarity in distributed systems for data storage and retrieval.
  • Strong background in Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
  • Some programming experience relevant to developing cloud management tools (including Bourne/bash shell, Ruby, Python, Perl).
  • Demonstrated experience with configuration management tools.
  • Understanding of the complete Linux PXE/Network provisioning process.
  • Familiarity with managing continuous integration tools.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services.
  • Comprehension of overall corporate architecture along with familiarity with OpenSSL and Java keystore manipulation.
