The ideal candidate will design, organize, and modify the company's computer systems. This individual will evaluate and assess systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, this individual will harness collected knowledge and make adjustments to existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain policies and configurations in MECM for software deployment, patch management, compliance, and security across the organization.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain the MECM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, and management points to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of programs, applications, updates, and security patches across Windows desktops, laptops, and tablets.
  • Create, test, and deploy software packages, applications, and updates using MECM. Manage virtual application packages using App-V, ensuring compatibility with the organization's IT environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to virtualized applications, resolve conflicts with other applications or system components, and deploy virtualized applications to end-users through MECM or other deployment tools.
  • Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software updates.
  • Monitor the health and performance of the MECM environment, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Configure and manage endpoint security features such as antivirus, encryption, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate MECM with other systems and tools, such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and third-party applications.
  • Provide guidance and support to IT staff and end-users on MECM functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
  • 5+ years of experience related to Systems Administration
  • Proficiency in MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune, App-V, and desktop management.
  • Knowledge of MECM architecture, deployment, and management, including experience with MECM (formerly SCCM) version 2012 or later.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with cloud-based endpoint management solutions, such as Microsoft Intune.
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager Administrator Associate is required
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is a plus
