Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ad Sales, Head of Agency Sales professional to join our team at DIRECTV. This executive will be responsible for developing sales, upfronts, sales digital transformation, and go-to-market strategies for the DIRECTV Ad Sales Group.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the addressable, digital, and programmatic advertising business, as well as extensive and relevant industry network that can accelerate activity within the Advanced TV ecosystem.

This role will oversee the agency team across all verticals, including IPG, Dentsu, Publicis, WPP, OMG, Horizon, Havas, and Independent Agencies. The primary purpose of this position is to identify and develop key Ad Sales partnerships that drive significant incremental revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue for DIRECTV Ad Sales across all key agency partners by getting buy-in from senior agency leaders.
  • Manage agency relations and deepen relationships with senior leaders.
  • Grow culture thriving, diverse, trained, and talented sellers and managers who are subject matter experts in their business and with their clients.
  • Support growth across all products, with a specific concentration on digital transformation, addressable, cross-platform, programmatic, and new ad formats.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or MSc Degree nice to have.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Advertising ecosystem with recent experience in the growth of Digital and Advanced TV.
  • Highly skilled at operating in a collaborative, interdependent environment and working in an evolving business.
  • Deep understanding of the addressable, digital, and programmatic advertising business.
  • Extensive and relevant industry network that can accelerate activity within the Advanced TV ecosystem.

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s).

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $226,780 - $340,170.
