Supply Chain Engineer

Edgewater Technical Associates is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Supply Chain Engineer position. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes within the organization.
Work Location:
This position requires on-site presence, with potential for a hybrid work arrangement.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
As a key player in the nuclear operations sector, you will be part of a team that operates within a highly regulated environment.
1. Review and analyze purchase requisitions from various departments to confirm compliance with quality standards, design specifications, and regulatory commitments.
2. Expedite the acquisition of necessary qualifications for the procurement engineering role within a specified timeframe.
3. Propose enhancements to procurement processes and procedures to improve overall efficiency.
4. Develop a management program for outdated and soon-to-be obsolete components.
5. Ensure that equivalency evaluations by the Engineering and Projects department are streamlined and documented.
Qualifications:
• An associate's degree coupled with relevant experience in procurement engineering within nuclear operations.
• Experience with Department of Energy (DOE) projects is highly desirable.
Job Details:
The work location for this position is at a prominent nuclear facility.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Access to Controlled Areas and possession of an L or Q level security clearance is mandatory.
