Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee enhancements in manufacturing and facility operations across Array locations, focusing on process optimization and equipment reliability.
  • Utilize Lean manufacturing principles and project management methodologies to identify and implement efficiency improvements while minimizing waste.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors for production and facility equipment, ensuring high standards of supply security.
  • Support the introduction of new procedures aimed at bolstering manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.
  • Analyze maintenance data to determine the need for equipment upgrades or replacements.
  • Take ownership of facility layouts to promote efficient production flows.
  • Collaborate with the New Product Introduction team, applying Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly expertise.
  • Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify root causes of issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions, leveraging extensive product knowledge.
  • Facilitate communication of solutions across various departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and regulations.
  • Maintain awareness of current product knowledge to ensure accurate information dissemination.
  • Manage building security programs across all Array facilities.
  • Conduct inspections of security and utility systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to support site operations.
  • Communicate effectively across organizational levels, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • This role may require occasional evening and weekend hours, with travel expectations of 5-20%.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines for precise metal fabrication.
  • Experience with high-volume progressive stamping presses is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in automated processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of interpreting technical drawings.
  • Prior experience in tool and die, as well as metal fabrication, is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work across various time zones.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in computer use for significant portions of the workday.
