Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee enhancements in manufacturing and facility operations across Array locations, focusing on optimizing processes, equipment performance, and reliability.
  • Employ Lean manufacturing principles and project management strategies to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
  • Facilitate outsourcing initiatives for the production of components, leveraging manufacturing expertise to ensure supply chain security.
  • Manage vendor relationships for production and facility equipment, ensuring effective collaboration and support.
  • Implement new operational procedures to enhance manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.
  • Analyze maintenance data to determine equipment upgrade or replacement needs.
  • Optimize facility layouts to promote efficient production flow.
  • Support the New Product Introduction team by applying Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly methodologies.
  • Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify root causes of issues and implement robust corrective actions, updating relevant documentation as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on machining, assembly, and process optimization.
  • Proven experience with CNC machinery and metal fabrication processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand product testing requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and computer use.
