Sales Account Manager, Public Sector Solutions

As a Sales Account Manager on the Amazon Business Local Government team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire and grow medium-large public sector agency customers. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of building relationships at the C-Suite level, as well as across functional areas such as procurement, production, maintenance, supply chain, and IT.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering accurate weekly reporting on pipeline and customer spend adoption, including account status updates and insights learned during deployment
- Providing strategic account engagement that helps customers implement solutions that solve industry-specific procurement challenges
- Driving and accelerating spend adoption by advising customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions
- Focusing on automating service needs for customers, while working with Product and Technical teams to develop solutions that will increase solution adoption
- Relaying market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams, including Product, Technical, and Category Management teams
