Strategic Business Development Manager, Public Sector

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Sr Account Executive to join our Local Government team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing strong relationships with medium-large public sector agencies as business customers.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers at public sector agencies.
- Balance time between acquiring new business customers and assisting existing customers in enabling their accounts to best suit their needs.
- Work closely with customers to understand their procurement requirements and collaborate with internal teams to determine the best solution.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of B2B and/or government sales experience.
- A demonstrated track record of owning the sales life cycle, including identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities.
Prior experience selling to public sector senior leadership and expertise in MS Office Suite, CRMs, and other systems are highly desirable.
