Position Title: Sales Consultant, Landscape Design for Residential and Commercial Projects

Compensation Package:
Competitive base salary of $70,000 plus commission on sales, company vehicle, gas card, two weeks of vacation in addition to holidays, health insurance with up to 75% employer contribution, 401k matching up to 3%, cell phone, and laptop.

Role Summary:
The Sales Consultant will be instrumental in driving sales for both commercial and residential landscaping projects. This role involves establishing connections with general contractors and developers, following up on leads, and crafting tailored outdoor solutions that align with client needs while ensuring profitability for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with leads and referrals to assess potential opportunities.
  • Build a network of general contractors and developers to promote design/build services.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to foster trust and satisfaction.
  • Assist clients in articulating their project goals and budget considerations.
  • Present design proposals for client review and approval.
  • Utilize LMN Software to generate estimates and contracts to formalize agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and designs.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, tracking client interactions and progress.
  • Facilitate the transition of projects to the fulfillment team post-agreement.
  • Conduct regular inspections during the construction phase to ensure project alignment with the original scope.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and design of outdoor solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch Up.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and construction.
  • Strong skills in drafting estimates and proposals.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Adaptability and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company effectively.
  • Capability to develop project scopes and budgets through material sourcing.
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
