The Role
In the Electrophysiology (EP) division at Abbott, we are at the forefront of heart disease treatment, utilizing innovative medical technologies to address atrial fibrillation and empower individuals to reclaim their health.
Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision, you will provide expert engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for complex inquiries related to EP products. Your role will involve:
- Acting as a senior clinical liaison between the medical community and our business.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients while sharing product knowledge.
- Identifying customer needs and reporting insights to drive sales growth.
- Delivering advanced engineering and clinical support for intricate field inquiries.
- Leading training sessions on EP products for healthcare professionals.
- Offering strategic feedback to management regarding market trends and product development.
- Providing procedural case coverage in the EP region.
- Supporting EP Sales Representatives in various capacities, including training and clinical studies.
- Mentoring junior Clinical Specialists and fostering their professional development.
- Staying informed on industry advancements and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year in a relevant position.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience, either internally or externally.
- Previous experience in the industry is preferred.
- IBHRE EP certification is required.
- Proven track record as a top performer among peers.
- Ability to independently manage complex EP cases.
- Experience in conducting educational events to highlight the EP portfolio's value.
- Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, including potential COVID-19 vaccination.
