About the Role

The Strategic Operations Director will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing executive-level support to streamline administrative and programmatic functions. This role requires a unique blend of organizational systems expertise, political acumen, attention to detail, exceptional communication, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Support
    • Provide strategic support and counsel to the CEO on communication with key stakeholders.
    • Act as a liaison with the senior leadership team to advance strategic priorities.
    • Partner with the CEO to represent the organization to external organizations and media, preparing for meetings, and serving as a spokesperson when needed.
  • Organizational Efficiency
    • Streamline administrative processes for optimal organizational performance.
    • Liaise with programming and development teams to ensure proper utilization of funds.
    • Gather programming data to support grant applications and reports.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide organizational leadership and support to the CEO and programming staff in managing critical emergent issues and incidents.
    • Manage parent communication channels, ensuring timely and effective communication.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with grant writing and reporting.
  • Familiarity with databases and data-driven engagement strategies.
