Key Responsibilities
  • Center Management: Provide strategic direction and management for the Weiser Center for Real Estate, working closely with the Faculty Director to set goals and objectives.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement new programming and activities that align with the Center's strategic priorities and the main goals of the University of Michigan.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, students, corporate recruiters, and donors.
  • Marketing and Communications: Oversee the strategic direction for all marketing and communications efforts, including web presence, social media, and other vehicles to communicate with internal and external audiences.
  • Staff Management: Select, supervise, develop, and evaluate staff, establishing and modeling performance expectations and standards to foster a positive, high-service, and innovative culture.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, or Business Administration, or an appropriate combination of education and professional experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a complex matrix organization, ideally with some higher education experience. 3+ years of managerial experience, formal or project-based.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of Real Estate, experience in strategic planning and organizational development, and experience networking with both internal and external partners.
What We Offer

The University of Michigan offers a competitive salary range of $109,000-$121,000, depending on experience, knowledge, and skills. We also offer a great compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
