Job Description

We are currently hiring a Leasing Specialist for an apartment community located in Richmond, VA. As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to leasing inquiries, following up on leads, and touring apartments. You will also assist with developing marketing plans and posting advertisements, processing rental applications, executing leases and collecting deposits, managing move-ins and move-outs, processing maintenance requests and work orders, and assisting with any other administrative and property management tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up on leads
  • Assist with developing marketing plans and posting advertisements
  • Process rental applications, execute leases, and collect deposits
  • Manage move-ins and move-outs
  • Process maintenance requests and work orders
  • Assist with other administrative and property management tasks

Qualifications
  • At least 1-year experience in the apartment management industry
  • Ability to multitask, achieve deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
  • Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check
