OVERVIEW

Enhance Recruiting is collaborating with a prominent global leader in food production. We are in search of a skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist who will play a vital role in pinpointing inefficiencies and potential enhancements within logistics facilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in warehouse and logistics operations, conducting statistical evaluations, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This position will be a key contributor to the project management team, offering significant visibility across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the formulation of streamlined warehouse operations utilizing DMAIC and DMADV methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively and present acquired knowledge to various departments through Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), team discussions, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Perform regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of established processes.
  • Gather precise measurements, develop layout designs, and provide recommendations for warehouse infrastructure initiatives. Serve as the main liaison for vendors on projects such as visual management enhancements and racking system installation/optimization.
  • Promote continuous improvement efforts by defining and analyzing metrics such as product scanning accuracy and inventory location reliability.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Warehouse/Logistics, particularly in the food products and consumer packaged goods sectors.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Previous experience in designing warehouse or manufacturing workflows is essential.
  • Experience with labor productivity or scheduling optimization is advantageous.
  • Lean Six Sigma training and experience are required, with Green Belt certification being preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
