Position Overview

What You Will Be Responsible For:

Procurement Foundry, a leader in the procurement sector, is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to enhance our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement strategies for reducing defects, minimizing waste, and enhancing process efficiency to positively influence quality metrics and decrease rework.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams to formulate and execute improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and offer technical insights on process design and enhancements.
  • Employ statistical methodologies and tools to analyze data and conduct root cause investigations.
  • Utilize industrial engineering methods such as time studies and motion analysis to pinpoint areas for process improvement.
  • Oversee or assist in project management tasks, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Customer-centric approach; prefers engaging with operations over administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and statistical software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Minitab).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and quality management systems.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or project management (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience in Quality or Process Improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong analytical skills.
