Position Overview:
A prominent client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Civil Stormwater Engineer to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing and directing drainage capital improvement initiatives from inception to completion. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating surveys and engineering designs.
  • Managing right-of-way acquisitions and utility relocations.
  • Supervising construction phases and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Additional duties encompass:

  • Conducting plan reviews and facilitating public meetings.
  • Approving site work and managing consultant relationships.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and reviewing payment invoices.

Engineering Design Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will prepare and submit construction plans, minimum design plans, and contractor exhibits for review and approval. This includes:

  • Estimating costs and reviewing scope and fee submissions.
  • Coordinating with consultants and evaluating model deliverables.
  • Conducting hydrology and hydraulics studies for various capital improvement projects.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in site development civil engineering.
  • Experience in stormwater management.
  • EIT or PE certification.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.
