Position Overview:
A reputable client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Civil Stormwater Engineer to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing and directing drainage capital improvement initiatives from inception to completion. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating surveys and engineering designs.
  • Managing right of way acquisitions and utility relocations.
  • Overseeing construction phases and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting plan reviews and facilitating public meetings.
  • Managing consultants and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and approving site work, as well as processing invoices.

Engineering Design Duties:
The successful candidate will prepare and submit:

  • Construction plans and minimum design plans.
  • Concept exhibits for contractor review and approval.
  • Cost estimates, including scope and fee evaluations.

Moreover, the engineer will conduct hydrology and hydraulics studies for various capital improvement projects, including roads and bridges.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act.
  • EIT or PE certification.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in site development civil engineering.
  • Experience in stormwater management.
