As a Biotech Sales Professional at ZAGENO, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by acquiring new biotech customers and integrating them into our platform. This position demands a strategic thinker with a knack for consultative selling, capable of understanding and addressing potential clients' needs with tailor-made solutions.

This position is a hybrid role based out of our Boston, Massachusetts headquarters. Applicants must reside in Massachusetts and are required to work from the office at least two days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and engage potential biotech clients, employing effective prospecting strategies to expand ZAGENO's customer base.
  • Consultative Selling: Adopt a solution-oriented approach to sales, understanding customer pain points and articulating the value of ZAGENO's platform in meeting their needs.
  • Deal Closure: Drive the sales cycle from initial contact to signing deals, employing strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Pipeline Management: Actively manage and strategize your sales pipeline for sustained, long-term success.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with your peers and the leadership team, contributing to a culture of success and continuous improvement.
  • Professional Growth: Take advantage of learning opportunities to expand your skill set and advance your career within ZAGENO.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a closing role, preferably within the SaaS or biotech sectors. Experience with procurement processes and technology is a plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at consultative selling, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
  • Attributes: Goal-driven, resilient, and persistent, with a positive attitude towards challenges and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Team Orientation: A collaborative spirit, supportive of team members, and motivated by collective success.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with a Business, Marketing, or a related field concentration preferred but not required.
