Your Role:

The primary duties of the Reservation Sales Specialist include collaborating with the Reservation Sales Manager to optimize pricing and occupancy rates based on ongoing performance metrics, thereby enhancing overall company revenue. You will play a crucial role in assisting guests in selecting and reserving their ideal vacation rental.

As a Reservation Sales Specialist, you will:

  • Welcome and assist guests and property owners in finding the most suitable accommodations;
  • Respond to all incoming inquiries through various communication channels;
  • Recognize and appreciate guest loyalty;
  • Engage with guests via phone, SMS, and email, ensuring a friendly and professional interaction;
  • Manage sales leads according to established procedures and utilize tools to boost sales;
  • Build strong relationships with guests while pursuing sales opportunities;
  • Promote additional revenue options such as travel insurance;
  • Process payments and gather necessary reservation information;
  • Offer reservation retention options to guests considering cancellations;
  • Address guest concerns regarding reservations and clearly communicate company policies;
  • Assist in reaching out to guests for alternative options if their booked property is unavailable;
  • Ensure timely completion of guest rental agreements;
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of property features and ski access;
  • Support guests with inquiries or issues before, during, or after their stay;
  • Provide local recommendations to enhance the guest experience;
  • Conduct online research to find information as needed;
  • Effectively de-escalate guest concerns by offering suitable resolutions;
  • Exercise independent judgment during sales interactions;
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned;
  • Meet all key performance indicators and be open to coaching for personal development;
  • Utilize technology to improve efficiency and drive revenue;
  • Communicate effectively with clients and guests across various service levels;
  • Be an enthusiastic and collaborative team member.

Qualifications:

Remote work within the US is required.

Must be authorized to work in the US.

Willingness to travel for familiarization trips is necessary.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Familiarity with the hospitality industry is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $18/hour plus commission potential.
