About the Role

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading global lift truck manufacturer, seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Aftermarket Sales Department in Dayton, Ohio. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize material handling service and parts sales, industrial battery service, and operator training within the branch territory.
  • Manage a team of sales professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination among departments.
  • Review and approve sales-related functions, including accounts receivables and vendor invoicing.
  • Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports to ensure team success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or a related field, or several years of successful sales experience.
  • Three to five years of product, service, or parts sales experience, preferably in the material handling industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
  • Completion of background check, drug screen, and physical required.
