We are looking for a Project Manager to be based in our Phoenix office. This role entails comprehensive oversight of project management, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively, culminating in a product that meets client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Management

  • Oversee project management by delivering technical solutions that align with client specifications.
  • Ensure effective project management through the application of industry-standard technologies and innovative design practices.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts across various disciplines and departments.
  • Implement DRA's project management methodologies to enhance project execution.

Operational Oversight

  • Contribute to all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) initiatives, promoting a culture of safety.
  • Lead the project initiation phase, including the formulation of necessary project procedures.
  • Manage project scope and oversee the change control process.
  • Supervise project timelines to guarantee timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Administer project budgets and control related costs effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to protect both DRA and client interests.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards as outlined in the project quality management plan.
  • Oversee project communications, including documentation management and reporting.
  • Direct the execution phase of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning efforts.

Financial Management

  • Manage the financial aspects of the project to ensure profitability aligns with initial projections.
  • Maximize contractual bonus opportunities while maintaining project standards and client relationships.
  • Handle the commercial relationship with clients, addressing contractual issues to minimize risks.
  • Oversee the project EPCM and manhour budget.
  • Manage client invoicing to ensure timely payments.

Client Engagement

  • Foster strong client relationships, focusing on long-term partnerships that encourage repeat business.
  • Meet and exceed client deliverables consistently.
  • Address client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Keep clients informed about project progress and developments.
  • Ensure all client interactions are conducted professionally and respectfully.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Over 10 years of project management experience in mining and infrastructure sectors, with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
  • At least 12 years of experience in a design and construction environment within the Mining and/or EPCM sectors.
  • More than 10 years of comprehensive experience in risk assessment, advanced analysis, earned value management, and contractor negotiations.
