As a Project Manager, your primary role will involve orchestrating, outlining, and crafting both internal and external project strategies. You will establish project objectives and success indicators that will be effectively communicated to all team members, inspiring them to achieve their individual and collective goals. Acting as a bridge between the project team and senior management at Precision Science (as well as our clients), you will prepare and deliver regular progress reports to all organizational levels. Collaboration with all project team members is crucial to ensure timely delivery of projects within the allocated budgets. You must thrive in a multicultural environment, engaging with a diverse range of educational backgrounds and experiences from junior to senior levels.

Under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer and aligned with company goals, this position encompasses, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients (or internal stakeholders) to gather detailed information and clarify specific project requirements. Oversee the tracking of individual project performance as well as the overall Precision Global Schedule (PGS), which encompasses all projects within our enterprise portfolio. Take full responsibility for resource and task 'collision detection' across all enterprise projects.
  • Anticipate resource needs to achieve objectives and manage resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and resolve issues, recognize trends, determine system or process enhancements, and implement necessary changes.
  • Create comprehensive and detailed project plans for internal and external sharing.
  • Provide consistent project updates to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Assess project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize visual tools or applications to enhance communication and clarity.
  • Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, and action plans.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • 6-8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably with FDA 820 Design Control Methodologies.
  • Experience in process improvement and/or root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, professional, organized, and detail-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience managing projects through their entire lifecycle.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills are essential.
  • Commitment to high-quality standards and professional service.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Experience in the animal health/pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Experience in a GMP, FDA regulated, or ISO 9000 certified environment is a plus.
