Job Overview

The Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing construction initiatives, including the establishment of new facilities, enhancements to existing structures, and renovations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Develop and assign tasks, timelines, and responsibilities to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize and supervise construction teams, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Review project reports to assess status and implement necessary actions for improvement.
  • Conduct pre-project planning sessions, documenting outcomes and ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with the overall master schedule.
  • Establish and manage subcontracts and procurement processes to support project timelines and financial plans.
  • Communicate project challenges and updates to management promptly.
  • Prepare project estimates and ensure accurate input into the project cost management system.
  • Facilitate monthly billing processes to maintain cash flow during project execution.
  • Resolve conflicts with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, perform inspections, and address any project-related issues.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive mindset.
