Professional Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Director to join our team at Ascend Nonprofit Solutions. This is a full-time exempt position based in Charlotte, NC with occasional evening and weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
The Philanthropy & Outreach Director will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer to plan and execute fundraising activities, manage relationships with vendors and partners, and ensure cohesive branding, messaging, and representation within the organization and throughout the community. This includes developing and implementing annual solicitation campaigns, leading efforts in fundraising event planning, and providing support for the CEO/CAO in relationship management for high-profile donors.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in human services, education, business, communications, or a related field, and three to five years of direct fundraising experience. Previous experience in nonprofit organizations is required, and knowledge of early childhood development is preferred. You must also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
