About the Role

The Pastry Sous Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for overseeing the execution and development of our pastry menu. This role requires a passion for desserts, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality pastry offerings and timely service execution.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the kitchen and service teams.
  • Ensure that all recipes, products, and food preparations meet our culinary standards.
  • Provide support to pastry staff and participate in food prep assignments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a pastry leadership position.
  • Certification in a hospitality-related field (preferred).
  • Understanding of baking and pastry techniques, production, and kitchen equipment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Positive demeanor, ability to give and take direction, and passion for the food industry.
  • Open availability.
  • English fluency and additional languages preferred.
