Jetech International is a leading manufacturer of high-pressure pumps for the waterjetting industry, with a strong history and excellent track record in designing and manufacturing equipment up to 50,000 psi. Recently acquired by Peroni Pompe, a family-run company founded in 1895 and based in Milan, Italy, Jetech is undergoing a phase of growth and revitalization, aiming for rapid expansion and increased market presence.

Position Overview:

Jetech International is seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to prepare the company for rapid growth by implementing robust information systems, optimizing production processes, and overseeing the potential relocation of the facility. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and Oversee Information Systems: Develop and implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) capabilities to streamline production and supply chain processes.
  • Optimize Production and Purchasing Processes: Analyze and improve production, purchasing, and quality processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage Facility Relocation: Oversee the potential relocation of the facility to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop Synergies with Peroni Pompe: Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Financial Officer to develop and implement synergies between Jetech and Peroni Pompe, particularly in production flows and USA service activities.
  • Direct Operations and Workshop Management: Manage operations and the workshop with a hands-on approach until a dedicated team is established.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership: Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Financial Officer to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong Problem-Solving and Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a strong problem-solving attitude and mindset focused on cost efficiency.
  • Engineering Background: Engineering studies, preferably in operations and/or logistics, with prior experience in manufacturing or industrial operations roles.
  • ERP System Experience: Proficient in ERP systems and workflows, with a demonstrated ability to understand and implement business processes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience studying or working abroad preferred for non-native English speakers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Integration Experience: Familiarity with integrating operations between parent and subsidiary companies.
  • Similar Role Experience: Experience in a similar role within a growing company.
