We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our Cardiovascular Unit at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the activities, workflow, and nursing resources of the assigned unit(s).
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the delivery of patient care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services, and develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and achieve organizational goals.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing required.
- Previous hospital leadership experience as an RN Supervisor or Manager, with experience as a staff RN on a Med/Surg floor preferred.
