About the Role:
Our client, a distinguished firm in the Environmental, Geotechnical, and Civil Engineering sectors, is expanding its Environmental Division. They are in search of a Sustainable Engineering Specialist to collaborate with dynamic project teams, focusing on water quality assessments, soil analysis, permitting processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Conduct thorough investigations related to water quality and soil conditions.
- Develop and implement environmental permitting strategies.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with geotechnical and civil engineering professionals to create effective remedial action plans.
- Provide both office and field support for remediation projects, including chlorinated solvents and PFAS/PFOS management.
- Engage in project design and execution, including feasibility studies and system monitoring.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Environmental Engineering; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of State and Federal Environmental Regulations, including NEPA and SEPA.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside solid technical analysis capabilities.
