Culinary Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to contribute to our culinary team. We provide excellent benefits and foster a fun atmosphere while delivering high-quality products to our patrons.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare food items consistently according to recipe specifications and production standards, ensuring quality and portion control.
- Initiate the preparation of food items in advance, avoiding overproduction based on anticipated needs.
- Label all food containers and rotate stock according to company standards, ensuring perishables are stored at appropriate temperatures.
- Assess inventory for shift requirements, plan necessary preparations, and assist in maintaining a well-stocked buffet.
- Return unused food items to designated storage areas, ensuring all perishables are properly covered and dated.
- Assist in developing strategies to address food cost issues, manage waste, and control usage in line with company standards.
- Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, and mixers.
- Adhere to attendance policies and be available for regular shifts.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate must possess effective communication skills in English. A self-motivated personality with a positive attitude is essential. Professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times. The ability to interact positively with guests is crucial. Must be willing to assist colleagues and work collaboratively as part of a team. Physical dexterity is necessary to operate kitchen machinery, and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs. regularly is required.

The safety and security of our guests and staff are paramount. All associates must adhere to safety policies and procedures, particularly regarding handling heavy items, using chemicals, and reporting safety concerns.
