Key Responsibilities of the Culinary Support Specialist:
  • Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as assigned.
  • Uphold standards for dining services, ensuring efficient meal delivery, excellent customer service, and cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.
  • Manage the collection of used dishes, loading dishwashers, and properly stacking cleaned items.
  • Prepare workstations prior to meal preparation.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, particularly during busy periods.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies (e.g., detergents).
  • Monitor the operation of dishwashing machines and report any issues promptly.
  • Regularly dispose of garbage.
  • Sanitize kitchen areas, including floors.
  • Report any concerns or issues related to food service appropriately.
  • Adhere to all safety and administrative regulations, including local and state requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred one to two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation standards.
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service and care to senior residents.
