The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) provides a full spectrum of banking, capital markets, and advisory services, including comprehensive sales, trading, and research capabilities tailored for corporate, government, and institutional clients. Our focus is on understanding our clients' holistic financial requirements while respecting their overall relationship with Wells Fargo.

As a Vice President, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Analyst focused on the Asset Managers, Brokers, and Exchanges sector. Your primary duties will encompass:
  • Conducting in-depth fundamental equity research to generate unique insights on industry trends and specific stocks.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and databases to support research efforts.
  • Producing detailed reports on companies within your coverage and relevant industry themes.
  • Engaging with industry events and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicating research findings and team perspectives to both internal and external audiences.
  • Exercising independent judgment while gaining a comprehensive understanding of operational policies and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and management to address challenges and achieve objectives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Securities Research or equivalent experience through a combination of work, training, military service, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree or higher in Accounting.
  • CFA designation.
  • Over 8 years of experience in the equity research sector, specifically in Asset Managers, Brokers, and Exchanges.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across various organizational levels.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in financial modeling.
  • Excellent writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles relevant to the capital markets.
  • Familiarity with investment tools such as Bloomberg or FactSet.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Compliance with FINRA registration requirements within specified timeframes.
